Attorney Simon Stapleton practices exclusively in the areas of Asset Protection, Elder Law and Estate Planning. He typically deals with asset protection for clients, Medicaid planning, Veterans benefits, and long-term care crisis planning; this involves the preparation of Asset Protection trusts, limited liability companies, revocable living trusts, wills, durable financial powers of attorney, medical powers of attorney and advance medical directives and other legal documents. Where necessary, he prepares and submits both Medicaid applications and applications for Veteran’s benefits on behalf of his clients. The goal at the Stapleton Law Firm is to protect the life savings of our senior clients. In addition, we work with professionals, such as business owners, physicians and dentists, who wish to protect their assets from lawsuits, creditors and predators.
Simon frequently presents educational workshops to Veterans, seniors and professionals in the community; he teaches audiences the best way to legally protect and preserve their assets, as well as the growing importance of Elder Law and Life Care Planning as an area of legal practice. Life Care Planning is becoming more and more important for seniors who do not have family close by who can take care of them. Working with a geriatric care manager, Stapleton Elder Law provides comprehensive services and care to clients, which includes getting to doctor’s appointments, finding caregivers to come into their residence so clients can remain at home as long as possible, to providing all the legal documents necessary for complete asset protection, as well as qualification for Veteran’s benefits and Medicaid.
